IRC WebWatchers mission
is to promote a free, safe, sane and friendly environment across ALL IRC networks.
We encourage and promote such goals of all registered IRC channels on IRC networks
worldwide whose ideology follows along the lines as ours as decribed on our
"IRC
WebWatchers Ideology Page."
Our purpose is to give those channels, their contributors, and the developers
of IRC applications/tools positive exposure of their talents, web sites and/or
channels.
IRC WebWatchers
is a non profit, non partisan group of Webmasters and IRC "addicts"
whose goal is to promote the talents of our brothers & sisters on ALL IRC
networks whose patients, experience, talents and helpful nature shine through.
IRC WebWatchers does NOT pass judgement on a channel's content if such content
is of an adult nature. We do however, believe that such channels, and their
web sites, must do so in a way that is NOT offensive in its display of graphic
nudity, contains content of a questionable nature (teen/pre-teen sex, pedophiles,
bestiality and or incest/violence) or that in ANY way allows access to minors
to adult materials.
IRC WebWatchers
is looking for those individuals and/or groups whose channels, web sites and/or
Channel Operators convey the spirit of a worldwide community. All awards are
granted by our panel of judges who attempt to make unannounced visits to a nominee's
web site/channel within one week of a site's nomination. All awards are granted
at the begining of each month. Nominations may be made by a guest of the channel/web
site, its Operators and/or Webmaster. The nominating party bares no weight in
a judge's decesion (so don't be embarrassed to nominate yourself!) Winners will
be notified via the email address on the web site (ALL web sites must contain
an email address to reach the channel's Management/Webmaster.) In the event
that our judges deem that NO site earned an award, no award will be granted

IRC WebWatchers
invites ALL you "hot-shot" Webmasters to strut your stuff and show
us and the world your talent(s). Winners will be issued their award, which they
may place in their awards and/or links section, with directions on how to place
it on your site to point back to our site so the world can see you in "lights"
and marvel in envy at your recognized talent(s)! In return, we will also link
back to your web site in hopes of drawing more people to your web site, and
thus to your IRC channel and/or IRC related service. As nominations may be made
by parties who are NOT members of your channel/web site/service, ANY site that
receives an award and decides to NOT link its award back to our pages, will
still be listed as one of our award winners on our site during the month of
winning that award only. NO award will be issued to ANY entity whose sole purpose
is to profit rather than to serve the IRC community at large! As stated in our
